Abstract
 
Food service industry progress very fast lately. It shown by the variability of cuisine available, as of fast food or culinary products that has to be processed at prior.  There is also the shift in meals consumption pattern and habits. Examined the promising state of food service industry, it is suitable to start a new business as to develop the existed ones. Menu planning is a necessity if ones want serve customers profoundly. Menu planning should not be seen only from capital viewpoint, but much more. This study aims to a knowledge sharing of how to plan a proper menu.
